A fresh Vinho Verde made from Loureiro and Trajadura grown on granite soils and trained on traditional pergolas. Hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel, with malolactic fermentation blocked to keep it bright. Dry and light, with citrus, green apple and white flowers and a gentle prickle. Vintage: 2025.

About the producer
Quinta do Ermízio lies in Ronfe, just outside Guimarães, in the Minho: the heart of Portugal's Vinho Verde region. The estate's name may date back as far as the 12th century; the current winery was built in 1984, and the estate is now owned and run by Antonio A. Monteiro, a retired horticulture professor. Its 15 hectares of vines grow on granite soils at up to around 500 metres, trained on the region's traditional pergolas and farmed with minimal treatments and abundant cover crops, with minimalist work in the cellar.
