A bottle-refermented sparkling rosé from Bardolino, made from Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara and a little Sangiovese. Fermented spontaneously with native yeasts and refermented in bottle with its own must, then left unfined and unfiltered. Juicy and refreshing, with notes of pink grapefruit and blood orange; its name loosely means "enjoy the sun". Vintage: 2023.

Ingredients and allergens
Grapes: Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, Sangiovese. Producer's official analysis lists total sulphites at 5mg/L, below the EU threshold requiring a 'Contains Sulfites' declaration.

About the producer
Villa Calicantus is a small biodynamic winery in Calmasino, in the hills of Bardolino Classico, a couple of kilometres from Lake Garda. In 2011 Daniele Delaini left a banking job in Paris to take over vineyards in his family, reviving an estate with a long winemaking history. The vineyards have been farmed organically from the start and biodynamically since 2014, growing the traditional Verona varieties Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, with wines made without fining or filtration.
